While I still have many reservations (slow plotting to start, it’s a fantasy etc.), overall I did find myself enjoying this old fashioned adventure film filled with state of the art special effects.

I absolutely adored this movie and already consider it a personal favorite, however when asked if I’d recommend it to the population at large I’d lean towards no because the level of violence may turn away female viewers looking for a standard rom-com and the romance may turn away male viewers looking for a standard action flick.
