An intense crime thriller with some amazing performances and pitch-perfect direction (what else would you expect from David Fincher?), this one is not to be missed.

I read all 3 books, saw the first Swedish film, and thought this one (American remake) was super good.
I would highly recommend reading the books, Fincher has stated that he made the film assuming people will have read the books, so a lot doesn’t get explained. Not to mention the books are just so, so good.

Negative. I have not seen the original film, nor have I read any of the material. This is my only exposure to it. Went in fresh.
