While I was disappointed with the direction it takes towards the end, there’s no denying the riveting first half of this visually stunning and provocative sci-fi thriller.

What the hell is that? The “direction it takes?!” Who the hell appointed you the new Jesus?
This movie was made on a shoestring budget after the financiers for Jackson/Blokamp’s Halo movie fell through and they were left holding a 35 million dollar bag with no options. They made lemonade, and what do you have? Easily the best movie made for like no money in forever. So you didn’t like the “direction it took.” What the hell is that supposed to mean? You wanted Vickers to get cosmetic surgery? You thought the action scenes were needlessly crowd-pleasing (in which case please bone yourself)?
This whole “movie criticism in very few words” isn’t really working out when you can’t articulate what you mean succinctly, it it?
