Inglourious Basterds

Yes.

Tarantino strikes gold again with this long but gripping and unique (read: fictional) tale of espionage during World War II.

  1. This movie is like dental surgery. Or torture. I kept praying it would end. The previews promised a rousing, irreverent slapstick historical action flick. What I got was some whiny emotional docu-drama about a painfully boyish French “girl” (although maybe all French “girls” are that flat) who went on a series of dates with a handsome young Nazi soldier before deciding she didn’t want to eff him…so she kills the Fuhrer.

Try again, Tarantino. Kill Bill has made you cocky. Somebody should take you down a peg or two.
